I have also talked to many people about my video. The most common feedback was that they liked it but some of the sip syncing was not as perfect as it could of been. Also some people were not clear on the story-line, whereas others were. So there are many mixed mixed opinions, and for the next video I create, I will take into account these forms of feedback.
Here is a video of some of the feedback.

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
I have answered this question by creating a prezi.
I have answered this question by creating a prezi.
1. Evaluation
Slide One: The first slide I have chosen is of the title of the song. This image conforms to the conventions of most music videos, as it is important for the audience to be able to identify the song, as well as creating potent synergy.
Slide Two: This next slide of the music player connects the music and the image, this has a similar effect as lip syncing which conforms to the conventions of mot music videos.
Slide Three: I blended different images together, playing with the opacity. This connected the two story-lines and helped the audience to understand the themes.
Slide Four: Slide four is a screenshot of the lip syncing of my video. This is a common convention throughout all music genres.
Slide Five: This slide is more unusual as it is much brighter than the previous scenes in the video, and is full of colour which contrasts to the rest of it as well. I felt my video needed this to lift the mood and as my video is all about contrast using black and white, I thought I would capture a different style of contrast. This conforms to the conventions of rap, especially due to the potent colour of red, suggesting passion or violence, two themes which are common in rap and in my video.
Slide Six: This image shows an example of the effects used in my video, this is a common thing to include in music videos as it adds interest and atmosphere to the video.
Slide Seven: This slide, one of which demonstrates the anger and violence, the struggle for power in my music video strongly conforms to the conventions of rap music videos, as this is a typical theme.
Slide Eight: Most music videos have a shot in which they return to regularly in the video, generally of the singer. This slide shows a scene in which the lead female is walking through the woods and this is repeated every chorus. In this way it is applying the conventions but at the same time challenging them as the scene changes to make contrast to the video, making sure the audience does not lose interest. The chorus changes to a green screen effect occasionally, this also supports the surreal idea of the video and creates an illusion which intensifies the atmosphere.
Slide Nine: This slide is from the last scene in my music video where the two characters, having been leading separate story-lines, meet. My story links to the lyrics and is resolved in the end. This conforms to many music videos, as it is common to have a storyline which is resolved in the ending, or two characters who meet at the end of the video for the first time.
